The PC cars are having a rollercoaster of a race, aren’t they.
IMSA are cracking down on teams short cutting the chicane. Penalties regardless of whether time is lost or gained now. VisitFlorida cut it multiple times because Goossens “forgot.”
UPDATE: Both #8 and #88 spin separately, but in the same part of the track.
UPDATE (9:22 AM EST): Aaaaaaaand #88 is back

Both of them spin off in the same area...and yet the broadcasters STILL think it was the same car twice, even when the numbers were clearly visible both times...

RLM doesn’t have great vision of that part of the track from the booth, but eventually they corrected themselves. The incident was 3 rolex boards apart.

That’s excusable. I was talking about FS2 coverage. They claimed it was the same car in both incidents TWICE and never corrected themselves.
